Chief Fundraising Officer

As we expand our impact, we are seeking a passionate and strategic Chief Fundraising Officer (CFRO) to lead our fundraising efforts and empower our mission. The CFRO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support DIVD.fund’s programs and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the board and leadership team, the CFRO will build and nurture relationships with donors, corporations, and other partners who share our vision of a secure digital world.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a multi-channel fundraising strategy, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and grassroots campaigns.
  • Set clear, measurable fundraising goals aligned with DIVD.fund’s strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

  • Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Create and execute compelling donor stewardship plans to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Represent DIVD.fund at donor meetings, events, and conferences as a passionate advocate for our mission.

Team Collaboration & Capacity Building

  • Work closely with the communications team to craft impactful fundraising campaigns and materials.
  • Mentor and manage fundraising staff as needed to scale efforts.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising goals with organizational needs and impacts.

Financial Oversight & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage the fundraising budget in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board of Directors on fundraising performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: substantial experience of progressive fundraising, with a proven track record in securing major gifts and corporate partnerships.
  • Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious fundraising goals.
  • Knowledge: familiarity with cybersecurity, or nonprofit sectors is a strong plus.
  • Communication: exceptional interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
